Moschino : collection ready-to-wear Spring-Summer 2016
Brimming of colors, humor and bling-bling accessories, Jeremy Scott’s collections win to be analyzed ! This artist, which is recognized for his artistic and personal style inclined to a kind of insanity and eccentricity draws his inspiration of the everyday life of each. The time of a fashion show, McDonald wore a look more luxorious, whereas Barbie, Sponge Bob and Grosminet became the stars of one of its shows ! Very quickly, the art director made of Moschino a Kitsch reference, bringing it towards a style more defines, less shy ! Montaigne Style takes a closer look on the last collection of ready-to-wear clothing Spring- Summer signed Jeremy Scott for Moschino !
” I was very inspired by carwash “, said Jeremy Scott during a Vogue’s interview. As a majority of his shows, the elaboration of this new collection is more similar to a spectacular show than to a classic demonstration. The scene which looks like a road or a construction site, is filled by two lines of panels of configurations, which we shall find on a majority of dresses by way of motives, of bags, or still of hats ! Big knots, worker’s helmets, flowery motives mixed with panels, that is the ultimate of the kitsch ! The models show an amused air, almost defying the spectators of their assured walk, delighted to wear the dresses which were attributed to them, loaded of motives and stripes, in garish colors, inspired by safety vests. The last silhouettes of the show are much more fanciful ! It is on the roads of Vegas that the creator takes us, with feathers, baggy skirts, arrows spangled and more common colors, such as the pink, the blue, the yellow… So, this show demonstrates, again, the incredible creative pallet that gives Jeremy Scott to Moschino, with ideas always crazier, clothes always more creative, and fashion shows always funnier !
